The design process was not without its challenges. The team had to overcome numerous technical issues during the CMF (Color, Material, Finish) stage and the mass production stage. However, through the combined efforts of the front-end and back-end engineering teams, the OnePlus 6T was successfully brought to life.

The OnePlus 6T's design excellence has been recognized by the prestigious A' Design Award, where it was awarded Platinum in the Digital and Electronic Device Design category in 2019.
